In our household, we have a rule: no dating until you’re sixteen years of age. We decided to partake in this rule when our first child was born, sixteen short years ago. My husband dated early, and I was the late bloomer. Finding common ground wasn’t easy, but we both had one thing in common: we wanted to protect our children.

I live in Toronto for a very long time. My parents and I moved from Miami to Toronto when I was 10 years old. My father was invited to a promising job in Toronto and my parents decided to buy a house there. Living together with my parents until recently I did not face the problem of moving within Toronto.
However this year I have decided to leave my parents house and take the route of leaving on my own.
